Associate Application Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a comparable technical or engineering field, or equivalent work experience
• 0–2 years of programming experience with Oracle PL/SQL 11g or 12c
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint Online, Teams, and Outlook preferred
• Experience with relational data sources such as SQL Server preferred
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience designing user-friendly, business-focused applications preferred
• Experience with Linux shell scripting preferred
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M BMC and MFT preferred
• Experience with a high-level programming language such as C, C++, or C#.NET, and object-oriented programming skills, preferred
• Experience with PowerShell preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design, write, modify, test, and maintain programs, scripts, and modules to address changing business needs, with guidance
• Develop and publish database, program, script, and test specifications
• Follow our departmental System Development Life Cycle standards for programming, turnover, testing, documentation, and incident reporting
• Work with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, pain points, and opportunities for workflow automation
• Turn business requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions that meet performance, usability, and governance standards
• Use an Agile approach to deliver proof-of-concept applications and workflows, then refine their usability and functionality through feedback
