Associate, Credit eTrading Developer (Java)

Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in the finance industry; front-office electronic trading experience is recommended
• Knowledge of Java 8–21, Linux, SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and JDBC
• Strong multithreaded programming experience
• Strong design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with trading and sales teams

Responsibilities:

• We design and develop our proprietary, high-performance fixed-income electronic trading platform, with a focus on credit products including U.S. corporates, credit derivatives, and Central and South American emerging markets
• We support and enhance existing infrastructure and applications across technologies such as ION, Java, and Kdb
• We support dealer-to-client trading workflows, including indicative and firm quoting, RUNZ, axes, RFQ and order management, and straight-through processing
• We partner with traders and quantitative analysts to gather requirements and build real-time trading applications that execute orders electronically across multiple ECNs
• We lead implementation and design with a focus on high availability and scalability
• We work with other fixed-income electronic trading team leads to encourage reusable frameworks across products
• We champion SDLC best practices, emphasizing test-driven development
• We balance timely client delivery with governance, compliance, and audit requirements
