Business Analyst - Jersey City

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 0–3 years of Business Analysis experience or relevant training
• Basic understanding of requirements gathering and business process analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Skills in business requirements gathering, BRD and FRD documentation, user stories and acceptance criteria, process mapping, workflow analysis, gap and impact analysis, UAT, stakeholder management, and project documentation are preferred
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools is a plus
• Work authorization listed in the posting: GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, or U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Conduct meetings and interviews to understand business needs and objectives
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories
• Create process flows, workflows, and business documentation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers
• Support Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement
• Assist with gap analysis, impact analysis, and process improvement initiatives
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business requirements
• Track project progress, identify issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Maintain clear and accurate project documentation
