Data Center Security Officer Hiring Event

Requirements:

• Demonstrate critical thinking and sound decision-making, attentiveness, and the ability to follow protocols.
• Have strong customer service and communication skills; basic computer skills are preferred.
• Be physically able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
• Be available to work at least one weekend shift, on Saturday or Sunday.
• Hold a driver certification and a valid drivers license.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet applicable state, county, and municipal security officer licensing requirements.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess the security environment, staying alert to potential risks.
• Observe and report concerns, and respond to situations that may affect safety and security.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines.
• Provide customer service as a friendly first point of contact for clients and others.

We are hiring full- and part-time Security Officers/Data Center Security Officers for second- and third-shift positions. Second shift runs from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, and third shift runs from midnight to 8:00 a.m. The pay rate is $18 or more per hour. Our hiring event is Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at WorkOne Michigan City in Michigan City, Indiana.
