Deployment Strategist

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience owning customer implementations, deployments, technical programs, or operational outcomes.
• Strong analytical and quantitative foundation, ideally in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, data science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to break down ambiguous, complex problems and prioritize the most important issues.
• Technical fluency, including writing SQL, reading API documentation, testing APIs with tools such as Postman, and troubleshooting data or integration issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong writing skills, including translating business requirements into clear technical documentation.
• Experience independently managing customer relationships and complex implementations.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
• Preferred: Experience with manufacturing procurement processes such as MRP, sourcing, supplier quality, receiving, or three-way matching.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, maintaining, or integrating ERP, PLM, or MES systems.
• Preferred: Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Epicor, Arena, Teamcenter, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: Coding experience, particularly with TypeScript, GraphQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Preferred: Experience in aerospace, defense, space, energy, robotics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Preferred: Previous experience in consulting, systems implementation, solutions engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical environment.
• This position involves working with ITAR-controlled and CUI data. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or otherwise qualify as a U.S. person under applicable ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead customer deployments from kickoff through discovery, data mapping and migration, configuration, go-live, and ongoing adoption.
• Work with procurement, engineering, finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business processes and convert them into scalable system workflows.
• Map and validate data flows between our platform and ERP, PLM, and MES systems, including NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Epicor, Arena, and Teamcenter.
• Write SQL and GraphQL queries to validate migrations, investigate data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and support customer analytics.
• Configure workflows for approval chains, RFQs, supplier onboarding, purchasing, and other procurement processes.
• Diagnose integration and synchronization issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical blockers.
• Act as an ongoing technical partner to customers, monitor adoption, identify risks, and help achieve successful outcomes.
• Share recurring customer challenges and requirements with product and engineering teams as actionable feedback.
• Develop implementation templates, data-mapping guides, onboarding runbooks, success metrics, and other deployment best practices.

As a Deployment Strategist, you will work directly with customers across industries including aerospace, defense, space, energy, and robotics to implement and operationalize our procurement platform. This is a technical, customer-facing role at the intersection of implementation, data, systems integration, and business operations. The position is based in our Seattle, Washington office and requires regular travel to customer sites. Compensation is $150,000–$225,000 in base salary plus equity.
