DevOps Engineer

🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for DevOps Engineer 🔹

Hybrid working model: Preferred locations: Gdańsk/Gdynia however, candidates based in Warsaw will also be considered.

✔️Work task to be carried out:

• Deploying and running applications in production environments.
• Providing feedback to the team on production instabilities, incidents, and potential areas for improvement.
• Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining development, test, and production environments.
• Contributing to the automation of build, release, deployment, and production operations.
• Supporting the onboarding and migration of applications to an on-premises Kubernetes platform, with a subsequent transition to cloud-based infrastructure.
• Driving automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and deployment processes.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and ensure consistent deployments.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Developing and maintaining Python and Shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and operational workflows.
• Troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to improve application performance, availability, and scalability.
• Managing source code, configuration files, and automation scripts using Git.
• Supporting incident analysis, root cause investigations, and the implementation of preventive measures.

✔️Required expertise and experience:

• Linux, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, Python and Shell scripting, Git
• Good level of English
• Driving automation initiatives
• Help in automating build, release and production processes
• Provisioning & maintaining development, test and production environments
• Providing feedback on production instabilities and incidents to the team
• Deploying & running applications in production
• Familiar with building CI/CD pipelines

✔️Nice to have:

• Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence etc.)
• Database experience (Snowflake, Postgres etc.)
• Involvement in onboarding applications to Kubernetes platform on premise & later to cloud
