Entry Level Application Programmer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; alternatively, an Associate degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience at a medium-sized company may be considered.
• Willingness to continually develop skills, capabilities, and certifications as technology and information systems evolve.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Organizational skills and commitment to accurate, high-quality work, along with professionalism when representing the company.
• Desired knowledge of web development principles and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser development tools.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft web and desktop development technologies, such as .NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET Web Forms, web services and APIs, and Windows or console applications.
• Experience with Microsoft programming environments such as SSMS, Visual Studio, or Visual Studio Code.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or similar database software.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, SQL, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• General knowledge of version control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support the frontend and backend of our ERP applications and integrated software.
• Design, develop, and implement software changes based on specifications from senior programmers.
• Help troubleshoot and debug critical issues reported by end users.
• Provide general training to end users on our web and desktop applications.
• Collaborate with other programmers to develop coding standards and best practices.
• Organize and maintain system documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Contribute to larger project teams developing and implementing new systems or upgrading existing software.
