Hardware & Server Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Hardware & Server Infrastructure Specialist to support the design, development, and implementation of hardware infrastructure solutions in complex operational technology environments. This role offers the opportunity to work with business-critical platforms where reliability, scalability, and technical excellence are essential.

Description of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing hardware, server, and network infrastructure solutions that support SCADA and platform-based environments. This position requires strong technical expertise across server platforms, datacenter technologies, automation, and infrastructure architecture. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and technology vendors to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions. Experience from industrial, energy, or other mission-critical environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement hardware and infrastructure solutions for complex operational environments.
• Define and maintain hardware, server, and network architectures and topologies.
• Support infrastructure lifecycle management, including testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
• Implement and maintain automated infrastructure and configuration management using Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of platform reliability, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience designing and implementing hardware and infrastructure solutions in enterprise or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of server platforms, datacenter infrastructure, and network architecture.
• Experience with HPE infrastructure technologies, power management systems, and time synchronization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and Ansible for version control and automation.
• Experience working within SCADA, industrial automation, critical infrastructure, or similar operational technology environments.
• Professional communication skills and fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with virtualization technologies and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms, including VMware.
• Knowledge of storage architectures and external storage solutions.
• Familiarity with container technologies, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with LaTeX or advanced technical documentation practices.
• Background from large industrial, energy-sector, or other business-critical operational environments.
