iOS Developer - Hybrid Role - San Diego

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Progressive mobile application development experience, with expectations depending on career level.
• iOS proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode; Android proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; SAFe is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Desired experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
• Senior and principal levels require technical leadership, mentoring, platform strategy, and enterprise collaboration skills; associate-level work emphasizes adaptability, curiosity, and learning.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile banking features for iOS and/or Android.
• Resolve production issues and improve platform stability and performance.
• Work with cross-functional Agile teams, including front-end, back-end, and product stakeholders; participate in ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
• Follow platform-specific development standards and best practices; write and maintain unit and UI tests and participate in peer code reviews.
• Keep current with mobile operating system updates, development trends, and emerging technologies.
• Advocate for platform quality and contribute to reusable component libraries.
• Depending on career level, build features and fixes with guidance, independently own moderately complex work, or lead complex features and platform initiatives.
• Mentor developers, establish platform standards, influence architecture, and represent mobile in cross-team efforts as appropriate to career level.
• At principal level, define mobile platform strategy, lead enterprise-wide initiatives, and introduce tools, frameworks, and practices.

We are hiring an iOS Developer for a direct banking client to help deliver secure, reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences to members. The role is based in Vienna, Virginia, with a hybrid schedule of three onsite days and two remote days per week. This is a long-term, ongoing project with no stated end date, paying $85 per hour on W-2. The stated compensation is a guideline; the final offer may depend on skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
