Java / Angular Developer – Fedwire Apps

Requirements:

• Strong Core Java and object-oriented programming fundamentals
• Experience with Spring MVC and Spring Boot
• Experience with Oracle and SQL, including queries, stored procedures, JDBC, and database or schema interactions
• JavaScript and Angular skills
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and development accelerators is preferred
• Financial services industry experience is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are preferred
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems, and development standards is preferred
• Experience working in Agile development teams is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications and services using Core Java and Spring, including critical Fedwire applications and related systems
• Build and support Java- and Spring-based services, integrations, and application components
• Develop and maintain front-end features using JavaScript and Angular
• Work with Oracle databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, JDBC, and database schemas
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code in line with established engineering standards
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, pair programming, and Agile ceremonies
• Create unit tests and troubleshoot application defects and production issues
• Address bug fixes, enhancement requests, and sprint backlog items
• Collaborate with QA teams on unit, security, functional, and performance testing
• Maintain technical documentation
• Work with senior developers to learn application architecture, development standards, and deployment and release processes
• Use AI coding tools and development accelerators where appropriate to improve productivity
