Oracle Agile PLM Data Migration Expert

Requirements:

• Experience with Oracle Agile PLM data migration and related Item, BOM, Change, AML, and FileVault data structures.
• Ability to develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, or SDK-based extraction programs for high-volume objects and revisions.
• Knowledge of data profiling, completeness checks, referential integrity validation, and error triage.
• Experience implementing revision-based extraction that includes full revision history.
• Skills in query, index, and batch-process performance optimization.
• Familiarity with extracting attachments and preparing file paths, metadata, and content for cloud ingestion.
• Ability to prepare structured extract files or tables for downstream transformation and mapping.
• Experience supporting migration mock runs, UAT, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to produce conceptual and technical designs, technical impact assessments, reviewed business requirements documents, and RICEFW technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Agile PLM schemas to design extraction logic for Item, BOM, Change, AML, and FileVault data.
• Build and tune extraction programs for high-volume objects, revisions, and associated data.
• Validate data quality, investigate errors, and resolve extraction issues.
• Implement extraction of complete revision histories for migration.
• Extract attachments and organize file paths and metadata for cloud ingestion.
• Provide clean, structured data to support downstream transformation and mapping.
• Participate in iterative dry runs and UAT, troubleshooting failures and refining extraction logic.
• Collaborate with PLM+, DBA, subject-matter expert, and integration teams on mapping, sequencing, and validation.
• Prepare and maintain design documents, impact assessments, business requirements, and technical specifications.

We are hiring a full-time Oracle Agile PLM Data Migration Expert / Software Engineer for onsite work in Austin, Texas, or Sunnyvale, California. The role supports an end-to-end migration of Item, BOM, Change, and FileVault data from Agile PLM to the cloud-based Oracle PLM+ platform, including full and incremental data loads. The project focuses on accurate mapping, transformation, validation, and loading, while enabling the legacy and new platforms to coexist until cutover.
