QA Engineer (Playwright/Selenium)

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or in a similar role.
• 5 years of manual testing experience, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• 2 years of experience maintaining and running automated test scripts with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with TFS/Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Queries, and Work Items.
• Foundational programming or scripting skills in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs with SoapUI, Postman, or similar tools.
• Basic SQL skills for backend data validation and integrity testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: Experience using AI tools to support testing activities.
• Preferred: Experience with workers compensation applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute detailed manual test cases and suites for functionality, usability, and end-to-end workflows.
• Manage testing activities in TFS/Azure DevOps, including test plans, defect tracking, and traceability to user stories.
• Maintain and run automated regression scripts to support release cycles.
• Document reproducible defects, work with developers to troubleshoot issues, and verify fixes.
• Test APIs and backend systems to validate endpoint responses, data integrity, and integrations.
