Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud supporting go-to-market or sales operations processes.
• Strong command of business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, user story writing, process mapping, and testing.
• Experience working in Agile teams with Salesforce developers and administrators.
• Clear, confident communication skills when working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and manage a backlog with shifting priorities.
• Preferred: Experience supporting partner or channel sales models, such as MSPs, VARs, or distributors.
• Preferred: Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Government Cloud, or Agentforce.
• Preferred: Familiarity with quoting and connections to quote-to-cash systems such as Zuora or NetSuite.
• Preferred: Experience in B2B SaaS or software companies.
• Preferred: Salesforce certifications, such as Business Analyst or Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Work with sales, partner/channel, and operations stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into business and functional requirements.
• Manage a backlog of Salesforce enhancements and fixes, helping stakeholders prioritize work.
• Lead analysis for small to medium-sized go-to-market projects from discovery through delivery.
• Create structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria for development.
• Map and document current- and future-state processes across the opportunity-to-quote lifecycle.
• Collaborate day to day with developers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and resolve blockers.
• Plan and conduct testing, including writing test cases, performing functional tests, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with business systems analysts working on quote-to-cash systems, including Zuora and NetSuite, when work overlaps.

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support our client, whose products reach small and mid-sized businesses through managed service providers, value-added resellers, and distributors. The role focuses on Salesforce-based go-to-market systems and joins a small, collaborative business applications team. The work includes a backlog of enhancements and fixes as well as several small to medium-sized projects, with an expectation that the analyst will quickly take ownership and work with limited oversight. Our client is looking for the backlog to be reduced, priority projects delivered, and team capacity strengthened as new leadership joins.
