Senior Database Reporting Tech Lead

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 8 years of relevant systems or technical analysis experience.
• Alternatively, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may substitute for the bachelors degree, in addition to the required experience.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Access, SAP, and SQL.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and deliver quality solutions within budget and schedule.
• Ability to connect project concepts with high-level business objectives.
• Knowledge of architecture, application development, data structures, and analysis methods.
• Proficiency in interpreting security patterns and audit reports to meet standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Understanding of project management and translating organizational objectives into goals.
• An advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the existing Microsoft Access database, including its architecture, functionality, data structure, integrations, performance, security, and operational dependencies.
• Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to gather and document business, reporting, data, and user requirements.
• Evaluate technology platforms and solution options, comparing capabilities, risks, costs, scalability, support needs, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Develop and present a future-state recommendation to improve system stability, reporting, data integrity, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create an implementation roadmap covering priorities, resources, dependencies, data migration and validation, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare clear documentation and executive-ready analysis to support decisions, solution approval, and a sustainable transition from the current database environment.
