Senior Footwear Designer

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of professional footwear design experience, including demonstrated expertise in integrated product graphic design.
• Direct experience designing performance or lifestyle footwear within leading athletic footwear and basketball brand environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Miro.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, visual systems, footwear construction, and manufacturing materials.
• Ability to work through ambiguous design challenges and deliver polished solutions within tight project constraints.
• Collaborative communication style and a team-first approach.
• A portfolio demonstrating footwear ideation, technical execution, and graphic design systems.
• Experience with physical prototyping or cobbling, 3D design software, or generative AI rendering tools is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead footwear and graphic design development from concept creation and storytelling through design specifications and final execution.
• Work closely with footwear design teammates and design leadership to shape cohesive seasonal direction.
• Create graphic applications, visual systems, and color and material narratives for footwear silhouettes.
• Manage multiple design deliverables across changing timelines and varying project complexity while meeting product briefs.
• Prepare technical specification packages and production-ready artwork for development partners, helping preserve design intent through manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews and presentations, clearly communicating creative concepts to leadership and partner teams.

The hybrid role is based in Beaverton, Oregon, with onsite work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Friday. The compensation range is $61–$64 per hour.
