Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect/Engineer

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and securing enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform architectures.
• Expertise with Google Cloud security tools, including Cloud IAM, firewall rules, KMS, organization policies, Security Command Center, Secret Manager, and VPC Service Controls.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity, shared VPC design, zero-trust networking, and regional network management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
• Preferred: Experience with Terraform and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred: Experience in regulated, multi-tenant enterprise environments or global professional services networks.
• Preferred: Strong stakeholder management skills and a track record of supporting secure cloud adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enablement of new Google Cloud Platform services across the PwC network, balancing service enablement with solution development and customer support.
• Provide subject-matter expertise, architecture reviews, technical oversight, and guidance for complex cloud initiatives requiring senior hands-on engineering.
• Design, deploy, and enforce security frameworks for Google Cloud environments, including organization policies, identity and access management, encryption, key management, and security telemetry.
• Ensure cloud environments meet organizational compliance, access-control, and governance requirements.

This is a telecommute contract role with working hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and pay of $68.48–$78.48 per hour.
