ServiceNow Developer

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of ServiceNow administration, configuration, or development experience in an enterprise environment; 5 or more years preferred for senior-level work, including leading complex platform enhancements
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Service Catalog, and CMDB
• Experience supporting upgrades, migrations, or major version transitions, including testing, documentation, and validation
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• ServiceNow CSA certification, completed or in progress, is a plus
• Exposure to recent ServiceNow releases or previous upgrade or migration projects is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Now Assist or other ServiceNow AI tools is a plus
• Experience with integrations, import sets, transform maps, or UAT coordination is a plus
• Interest in developing toward a senior ServiceNow Developer role is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Help plan and carry out our migration to the latest ServiceNow release, including assessment, remediation, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization
• Document and review existing processes, workflows, catalog items, forms, approvals, and automations, identifying legacy configurations and gaps to clean up or rebuild
• Configure and develop solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and workflow automation using tools such as Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Catalog Items
• Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, transform maps, and data imports; support data cleanup and validation
• Create dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics to monitor process performance and migration readiness
• Assist with unit testing, UAT, defect tracking, and retesting
• Contribute to platform governance, code reviews, update set strategy, and release management practices
• Explore and support ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence
• Prepare documentation, knowledge articles, and handoff materials for operations teams
