Smile CDR Integration Developer

Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of software development experience.
• Were looking for strong experience with Python/PySpark, Java, JavaScript, Apache Camel, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and SQL.
• We require experience with healthcare interoperability standards and developing and consuming APIs.
• Were looking for a strong understanding of distributed integration architectures and experience with ETL and data engineering practices.
• We prefer experience with Smile CDR, HL7 FHIR R4, CMS Interoperability, Prior Authorization, Payer-to-Payer, or Provider Access.
• We also value experience with Databricks, the Hadoop ecosystem, GitLab CI/CD, and the healthcare payer domain.

Responsibilities:

• We design and develop Smile CDR integrations and FHIR-based solutions.
• We develop Apache Camel routes, integration services, and API integrations with internal and external systems.
• We build and support ETL and data ingestion pipelines using PySpark and Python.
• We create scalable healthcare interoperability solutions using HL7 FHIR standards.
• We consume and publish REST APIs across enterprise platforms.
• We develop and maintain JavaScript-based Smile CDR modules and automation components.
• We collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• We support testing, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
• We participate in architecture and code reviews, as well as technical design sessions.
• We prepare technical documentation, data mappings, and integration specifications.
