Software Engineer - Cloud Engineering (C++) - SAN JOSE

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development and cloud engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ or equivalent, as well as Python.
• Practical operational knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, set priorities, and deliver results independently.
• Preferred: Experience developing distributed data management systems, such as NetApp ONTAP or similar systems.
• Preferred: Advanced certification in AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Preferred: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities:

• Build a strong technical understanding of our cloud data management and storage solutions, including their dependencies and limitations.
• Contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, including design, development, test automation, debugging, support, and resolution of significant customer issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Research ambiguous tasks and turn loosely defined requirements into clear specifications.
• Collaborate with cloud partners and internal engineering teams to advance product quality, innovation, cost, and time-to-market.
• Take ownership of work, set priorities, and drive results with limited supervision.
• Participate in peer collaboration and knowledge sharing to support continuous learning and improvement.
