Sr. Operational Technology Systems Administrator

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 years of related experience in technology, OT, IT, engineering, or a related field; or
• Associates degree in a technical field and at least 7 years of related experience; or
• High school diploma or GED and at least 8 years of related experience
• Meet applicable minimum or unescorted access requirements and pass any medical examination or testing required for the position

Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade plant OT systems, including process computers, data historians, and monitoring systems.
• Analyze corrective and predictive maintenance issues and implement improvements to system performance and reliability.
• Advise leadership, project teams, and station users, providing reliable plant data and technical guidance on OT solutions, performance measures, and business goals.
• Collaborate with leadership on future plans, resource needs, migration strategies, and project schedules.
• Provide daily OT support and respond to deployment needs, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and established metrics.
• Operate and maintain complex OT solutions, configure systems hands-on, and lead troubleshooting efforts while monitoring service metrics.
• Identify and communicate risks related to business impact analysis, site risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
• Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends across OT disciplines.
• Independently administer plant OT systems and share expert knowledge with colleagues.
• Support OT system installation and testing, ensuring plant documents accurately reflect physical and functional system characteristics.
• Develop troubleshooting plans and monitor, assess, and improve the performance and reliability of OT systems and components.
• Carry out other duties as directed, which may include emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support outside the department.
