Sr. ServiceNow Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise or large-scale environments
• 3+ years of experience building and supporting custom applications with App Engine Studio
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile or sprint-based delivery models
• Expertise in ServiceNow applications, platform capabilities, and APIs; custom application development; integrations; and data exchange
• Experience with server-side scripting, Business Rules, Client Scripts, access controls, REST APIs, JSON, query optimization, ITSM, and Platform Analytics
• Knowledge of platform security, governance, change review, and Agile delivery practices
• Strong technical design, collaboration, troubleshooting, documentation, and mentoring skills
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credentials

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements across multiple environments
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain and improve existing applications, with attention to stability, performance, and upgrade compatibility
• Review and approve development work for compliance with platform standards and security requirements
• Support platform upgrades and address development issues arising from new releases
• Contribute to platform documentation, architectural decisions, and operational runbooks
• Help troubleshoot production issues and implement lasting corrective solutions
• Participate in change review and release governance processes
