AI Engineer

Requirements:

• Intermediate proficiency in new product development, UI/UX design, cybersecurity and privacy, system design and implementation, API management, product design, test-driven development, DevOps, data collection and analysis, and cloud computing.
• Skills in learning agility, creative and emotional agility, relationship building, product management, value propositions, continuous improvement, communication, analysis and problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, managing ambiguity, and data-driven decision-making.
• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency developed through extensive education and business experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and support customer-facing and internal platforms, monitor platform health and adoption, and manage stability, accessibility, scalability, security, support, and innovation.
• Coordinate technology, design, security, and marketing teams to develop platform strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans; manage vendor relationships and related support, compliance, and licensing needs.
• Build stakeholder relationships, understand platform vision, and align work with the roadmap.
• Document business rules, functional and technical specifications, and process interpretations for applications, workflows, systems, and business solutions.
• Analyze platform data and implement improvements; prioritize work across components used by customers and end users.
• Consider the organizations competitive and strategic position when delivering products, and ensure compliance with service and support agreements and standards.
• Manage technical requirements, including APIs and other platform components, with a focus on security and resilience.
• Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support; independently diagnose and resolve problems, including non-routine situations.
• Apply BMOs Risk Management Framework and make informed decisions that protect the bank, align with business strategy, and comply with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Take on other related responsibilities as assigned.

This is a salaried technology role with BMO Financial Group, based at 100 King Street West.
