More

We work in a field where avionics systems are transitioning from single-core to multi-core processor architectures. This shift can reduce size, weight, and power requirements and enable common processing platforms, potentially lowering program costs, simplifying spares management, and addressing obsolescence. Certification policies and guidance for avionics hardware and software continue to evolve as research and experience advance in producing certification evidence for multi-core processor architectures.
