Business Applications Developer – Microsoft 365

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience developing or supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, or Power Platform solutions in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience building with Power Apps and Power Automate, including connectors, expressions, approvals, and exception handling.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint permissions, lists, libraries, metadata, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• Working knowledge of Dataverse, JSON, REST APIs, SharePoint data structures, and integrations with business systems.
• Experience with application testing, source or version control, release processes, and change management.
• Understanding of secure development, access management, data loss prevention, data protection, and cybersecurity principles; familiarity with ISO 27001 concepts.
• Awareness of Microsoft Copilot use cases and related data-security considerations.
• Education or technical training in IT, computer science, software development, or a related field; we will also consider equivalent professional experience.
• A relevant Microsoft certification, such as PL-200 or PL-400, or the willingness and ability to obtain an appropriate certification within an agreed timeframe.
• Effective communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills, along with the ability to work onsite during the standard workweek.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business users to understand process challenges, establish solution requirements, and deliver practical applications.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint Online solutions, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
• Create automations that reduce repetitive work and improve the consistency and efficiency of daily operations.
• Investigate application issues, find their underlying causes, and implement lasting fixes.
• Apply suitable permissions, data safeguards, and platform governance when designing and supporting solutions.
• Coordinate testing, version management, controlled releases, and transitions from development to production environments.
• Produce technical documentation, support guidance, and change records to help ensure solutions remain reliable.
• Help end users adopt applications and collaboration tools, including emerging Microsoft capabilities, responsibly.
