Central Utilities Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, or critical infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, HVAC, power distribution, and automation controls, including PLCs, DCS, and HMIs

Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical and electrical utility equipment, including steam boilers, cooling chillers, and wastewater treatment systems, to maintain continuous operations
• Diagnose system malfunctions, investigate equipment failures to determine root causes, and revise preventive maintenance schedules
• Work with engineering teams on design reviews, equipment testing, commissioning, and facility expansion projects
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards, building codes, and documentation procedures
• Review energy and water consumption data to reduce environmental impact and improve cost efficiency
• Design, operate, maintain, and optimize large-scale facility infrastructure, including industrial boilers, chillers, electrical distribution systems, and water treatment plants
• Coordinate with site project teams, utilities maintenance and operations staff, and client staff on infrastructure projects, system troubleshooting, and operations support
