Clinical Product Owner

Requirements:

• Clinical background with hands-on experience in the EMR domain.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements and create clear documentation for technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including presenting to leaders and working across clinical, technology, and marketing groups.
• Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Exposure to user research, user acceptance testing (UAT), and iterative product improvement.
• Experience partnering with UI/UX teams on screen design and workflow optimization.
• Willingness and ability to work on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the EMR product vision and strategy.
• Gather clinical stakeholder needs and turn them into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Prioritize features based on clinical impact, user feedback, and market trends.
• Work with developers, designers, and clinical experts to deliver EMR features.
• Build and maintain product roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Act as the primary contact for clinical stakeholders, aligning the product with workflows and best practices.
• Keep up to date with healthcare regulations, standards, and EMR trends.
• Conduct user research, collect feedback, and guide ongoing product improvements.
• Plan and conduct UAT to assess functionality and usability.
• Track product performance and user satisfaction and make improvements accordingly.
• Collaborate on end-user training materials and support resources.
• Support product launches and implementations.
• Partner with UI teams to plan screens and improve usability.
• Shadow a senior leader to learn the domain and practices, with a focus on Artemis EMR.

We are recruiting for a remote Clinical Product Owner role focused primarily on Artemis EMR, partnering across clinical, technology, and marketing functions to guide requirements and roadmap delivery. The W-2 hourly rate is $70–$80, with pay determined in part by skills, experience, and other compensable factors.
