Data Analyst

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst in an agile environment
• Comprehensive understanding of data warehouse principles and data modelling
• Strong ability to collect, cleanse and analyse data
• Ability to visualise, present and communicate data as insights
• Effective communication skills with people at all levels of the business
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in developing commercial acumen
• Direct experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, functions, macros and basic VBA
• Knowledge of applying machine learning practices

Responsibilities:

• Improve the delivery and consistency of operational performance reporting
• Analyse, synthesise, review and report on data across multiple operational workstreams
• Manage current and future demand and resource forecasts, and create reports, packs and dashboards for stakeholders
• Prepare data queries for auditing, analysis, reporting and data visualisation tools
• Create visualisations and dashboards to help the business understand analysis and model outputs and track key performance indicators
• Audit and maintain ongoing system data demands and outputs for stakeholders
• Suggest ways to visualise complex datasets and create charts and tables that reveal business issues and opportunities
• Perform ad hoc analyses to reconcile and interrogate data
• Maintain and enhance technical items, including customer reporting and internal processes, using available tools
• Assess reports and dashboards for improvements
• Present metrics, reports and dashboards to internal stakeholders
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support business decisions
