Data Center Technician

Requirements:

• We require 4+ years of experience in data center or network infrastructure settings.
• We are looking for hands-on experience supporting data center deployments and related operations.
• We need strong expertise in racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware installation.
• We expect experience with Cisco and/or Juniper environments, including Cisco IOS, JunOS, and core networking protocols.
• We prefer background in network rollout, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• We value leadership or coordination experience guiding field technicians or small crews.
• We seek familiarity with infrastructure technologies and onsite project delivery.
• We want knowledge of fiber optics, cabling standards, and best-practice infrastructure methods.
• We consider Ekahau or other network heat-mapping tool experience a plus.
• We prefer relevant certifications such as BICSI, CCENT, Network+, or equivalent credentials.
• We require candidates to be able to work onsite in one of our U.S. locations, including Wenatchee, WA, Fairfax, VA, or Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you act as the onsite lead and primary liaison for partner teams and subcontractors.
• We will rely on you to conduct site surveys and contribute to installation planning.
• We will ask you to coordinate field technicians during onsite deployment activities.
• We will have you perform racking, stacking, cabling, and network equipment installation.
• We will expect you to carry out QA checks, Green Light testing, and follow-up support after installation.
• We will have you support console management and remote engineering access.
• We will expect you to assemble infrastructure components using cabling diagrams and slotting matrices.
• We will rely on you to manage fiber and copper cabling, conduit work, and infrastructure diagnostics.
• We will have you partner with Project Managers, Engineers, and customers to ensure successful delivery.
