Data Center Technician

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10 certification, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
• Ability to travel extensively and work assigned shifts.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on ladders and elevated platforms in active construction environments.
• Ability to pass client-required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding.
• Preferred: Data center or structured cabling experience.
• Preferred: Fiber optic installation experience.
• Preferred: Experience with cable management systems and pathway installations.
• Preferred: OEM training or manufacturer certifications.
• Preferred: Familiarity with mission-critical environments.
• Preferred: Basic hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities:

• Pull, route, secure, and label fiber optic and copper communication cables.
• Install cable pathways, racks, cabinets, ladder racks, and related infrastructure.
• Terminate cables and perform basic testing.
• Assist with fiber splicing, fiber testing, and cable certification.
• Read and follow drawings, cable schedules, rack elevations, and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate installation records and submit daily production reports.
• Follow safety procedures, customer requirements, and site access protocols.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Support project milestones and production goals.
