Data Scientist – NLP / AI (EU Citizens Only)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Near-site)

We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to design, develop, and optimize AI solutions for large-scale text analysis and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize AI, NLP, and Machine Learning models.

Build and deploy solutions using LLMs, RAG frameworks, and transformer-based architectures.

Develop text mining capabilities including classification, clustering, named entity recognition, and information extraction.

Fine-tune and evaluate machine learning models for domain-specific use cases.

Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and improve model performance.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms.

Create visualizations, reports, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.

Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable ML architectures and best practices.

Nice to Have

Experience with recommendation systems, anomaly detection, forecasting, plagiarism detection, or topic modelling.

Understanding of bias mitigation techniques in AI/ML.

Knowledge of European Commission environments (eGrants).
