Deployment and Release Manager

Requirements:

• We require 5–7+ years of experience orchestrating, automating, and securing CI/CD pipelines, including hands-on work in environments with daily releases.
• We require experience with automated security scans and Azure infrastructure deployments, including Azure cloud environments.
• We require experience using Feature Flags and Azure App Configuration wrappers to deploy code in an off state.
• We require experience maintaining identical build artifacts across DEV, INT, LOD, and PRD environments.
• We require experience orchestrating automated performance testing in Azure and enabling instant operational rollbacks.
• We require experience creating and presenting daily release reports to business stakeholders.
• We seek strong teamwork, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• We require the ability to pass a Federal Government background check.
• We prefer experience with Azure Gov Cloud and with FedRAMP, FISMA High, and/or Zero Trust.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• We rely on this role to orchestrate, automate, and secure the CI/CD pipeline while keeping physical code deployment separate from logical business release.
• We expect this manager to prepare the delivery pipeline for daily, silent Production deployments and govern recurring feature releases.
• We expect this manager to enforce an automated, multi-stage gated pipeline that moves identical build packages through environments to prevent staging drift.
• We expect this manager to use Azure App Configuration to deliver code continuously to Integration (INT), Pre-Release (LOD), and Production (PRD) with features kept in an off state through dark launching.
• We rely on this role to embed automated security scans, including Sonatype and Fortify, and validation profiles across the four performance pillars.
• We expect this manager to provide instant rollback capabilities and support production stability without application restarts.

We are hiring a remote, contract DevSecOps Deployment & Release Manager for a 9 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule, with pay of $80–$95 per hour.
