Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps Code Apps and the Power Platform
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse
• Knowledge of Power Automate and approval workflows
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code
• Skills in application testing, debugging, deployment, and version control

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy a Power Platform Code App for the LIRR MOE overtime authorization process
• Create a responsive single-page application using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Enable MOE foremen and supervisors to create overtime lines and submit authorization requests
• Implement approval workflows and business logic with Power Automate
• Use Microsoft Dataverse for data storage, management, and application integration
• Apply GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to support development, testing, and debugging
• Work with stakeholders to understand current processes and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Maintain application security, reliability, maintainability, and ease of use
