Forward Deployed Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, C#, ASP.NET Core, AWS services, and PostgreSQL
• Experience building REST APIs and system integrations
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in client-facing settings
• Familiarity with frontend technologies including HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS; backend practices including microservices; AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, and RDS; PostgreSQL data modeling and query optimization; GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Docker; and GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools

Responsibilities:

• Work with business users and stakeholders to understand operational challenges and gather requirements
• Turn business needs into technical solutions and implementation plans
• Lead workshops, solution discussions, and requirements-gathering sessions
• Present technical recommendations and trade-offs to business and leadership teams
• Design and develop enterprise applications using Angular, TypeScript, C#, and ASP.NET Core
• Build scalable APIs, integrations, and backend services, as well as responsive business application interfaces
• Develop, deploy, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Take part in architecture reviews and cloud optimization efforts
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases, optimize queries and structures, and support performance, scalability, and data integrity
• Use GitHub Copilot and approved AI tools to assist with code, unit tests, documentation, and troubleshooting, ensuring generated code meets enterprise security and quality standards
• Troubleshoot production issues across application, database, and cloud environments; contribute to root cause analysis and incident resolution
• Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices
