GRC Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on software design and development experience
• Ability to write reusable, testable, efficient code
• Practical experience designing and developing APIs with Node.js and Python, including frameworks such as ExpressJS and Flask
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Understanding of server-side templating languages such as EJS
• Knowledge of modern development practices and technologies, including Agile, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
• Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and Redux
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with planning abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems using appropriate tools and techniques
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO, and PCI is preferred
• Cloud Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Automate compliance controls and processes to support near-real-time compliance monitoring
• Build a compliance automation platform and tools that provide a comprehensive view of the organizations compliance posture
• Own and contribute to all stages of software development
• Incorporate insights from internal and external sources to improve organization-wide reporting tools
• Maintain and continuously improve SharePoint sites, wikis, and other documentation portals
• Establish and deliver team goals, balancing business needs with software maintainability
• Rapidly prototype ideas and concepts while researching current technology trends
