IoT Cloud Developer

Requirements:

• Strong technical depth in cloud engineering and a hands-on builders mindset.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Experience with AWS IoT Core and integrating device data with backend services.
• Experience developing serverless applications with AWS Lambda and TypeScript.
• Experience designing DynamoDB data models for high-throughput, event-driven workloads.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Kinesis, SNS, and S3.
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workflows using AWS Glue, Athena, and QuickSight.
• Experience evaluating or implementing AWS Fargate for longer-running or stateful services, including services written in Golang.
• Ability to investigate distributed-system incidents, optimize performance and costs, and implement AWS security controls.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and communicate effectively with engineering teams and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support scalable, reliable, high-performing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Contribute to AWS IoT Core architectures and integrate device data with backend services.
• Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda and TypeScript.
• Design and support DynamoDB data models for high-throughput, event-driven workloads.
• Implement and maintain event-driven architectures using Kinesis streams, SNS topics, and S3.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workflows using AWS Glue, Athena, and QuickSight.
• Evaluate and implement AWS Fargate for longer-running or stateful services, including Golang services.
• Monitor cloud performance, identify optimization opportunities, and improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Investigate incident root causes in distributed systems and document solutions and best practices.
• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with AWS best practices.
• Guide and mentor Associate Cloud Engineers during project delivery.
• Explain technical concepts to internal teams and clients to support successful delivery.
