IT Analyst - Onsite

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience building, upgrading, and repairing PCs and laptops.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and PowerShell scripting.
• Desktop and laptop skills, including antivirus, basic troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, and imaging.
• Microsoft technology skills, including Active Directory, Office 365, PowerShell, and Windows.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and build effective relationships with remote and onsite users.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical, detail-oriented problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Desired: Experience writing system documentation, system specifications or requirements, and training materials.
• Desired: Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with end users and provide Tier 1 customer service and technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Resolve assigned help desk tickets, diagnose system failures, correct issues, and perform system management tasks.
• Manage Active Directory and Office 365 users, computers, and mailboxes.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network components and peripherals, including copiers, printers, workstation terminals, Cisco switches, VoIP phones, and VPN networks.
• Support administration of Citrix, EMC, and VMware environments.
• Assess users technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Use monitoring tools to optimize network and system performance.
• Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures.
