IT Helpdesk Technician

Requirements:

• Knowledge of PC operations and related peripheral equipment
• Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, routers, firewalls, switches, and servers
• Knowledge of MS Exchange/Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and Azure
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Knowledge of PCs, desktop and network printers, switches, and mobile devices
• Familiarity with VoIP and RingCentral phone systems
• At least 2 years of IT help desk support experience
• Preferred: 1 year of help desk experience and 1 year of Windows experience
• Technical and logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize work

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, applications, networks, and IT asset inventory
• Repair or replace equipment as needed
• Respond promptly to service issues and requests
• Provide company-wide technical support in person or by phone
• Resolve username and password issues
• Troubleshoot email, Wi-Fi, web browser, data backup, sharing, synchronization, and connectivity problems
• Set up, modify, and disable end-user accounts
• Guide customers through applications
• Verify hardware and software configurations and setups
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving internet connectivity, email, application downloads, and other technical matters
• Test new technology
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of IT
