IT-OT Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university, or equivalent education, with at least 3 years of experience
• Strong subject matter knowledge in IT/OT operations and infrastructure
• Experience with GMP and/or GxP manufacturing technology, including GMP systems or equipment and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements
• Experience managing IT/OT environments for laboratories and production facilities
• Basic understanding of IT networking and security
• Ability to learn and implement compliance requirements after joining
• Ability to handle complex tasks, select among established solutions, and work with minimal guidance
• Effective collaboration skills with local colleagues, global teams, and suppliers
• Knowledge or experience with PLCs and industrial automation is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT/OT infrastructure for laboratories and GxP manufacturing equipment
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, software, hardware, servers, and personal computing devices
• Monitor infrastructure performance, provide backups, and maintain operational integrity and continuity of service
• Automate routine work through scripting
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT, computerized equipment, and system issues, including those involving industrial automation, field devices, and networked systems
• Act as the facilitys first point of contact for IT equipment and system issues, coordinating with suppliers and global teams
• Provide technical support, evaluate and implement solutions for system configurations and enhancements, and assess their effectiveness
• Maintain security protocols, assess compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and work with security teams to address vulnerabilities
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, configurations, solutions, and best practices
• Work with global system managers during audits
