IT Quality Assurance Analyst Sr

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of related experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or performing user acceptance testing; alternatively, completion of a technical training program plus at least 4 years of related experience, or a bachelors degree or higher in business, information technology, or a related field plus at least 4 years of related experience.
• Relevant skills include quality assurance, functional and risk-based testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, SQL queries, database and data validation, test case and scenario development, defect investigation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, MS SQL Server, Postman, APIs, system integrations, and business applications is relevant to the role.
• Knowledge of business requirements, underwriting, billing, Property & Casualty processes, rating calculations, data integrity, accessibility, and compliance is relevant to the role.

Responsibilities:

• Test application changes end to end across the policy lifecycle, including quoting, binding, issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, rewrites, and policy servicing.
• Verify underwriting rules, business logic, eligibility criteria, and rating calculations against business requirements and state regulations.
• Use SQL to validate database processing, data integrity, and integration results.
• Document, triage, retest, and verify defects in Azure DevOps, coordinating with developers and business stakeholders through resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to evaluate feature impacts and maintain the stability of existing functionality.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, story reviews, and feature discussions to identify test scenarios, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Support releases with implementation validation, post-deployment testing, and investigation of issues.
• Perform accessibility testing with approved tools and standards to assess compliance and usability.
