IT Security Coordinator (On-Site)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security management.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, database security, firewalls, intrusion detection, authentication, and security monitoring systems.
• Experience conducting security assessments and managing risk, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks and CMMC requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities.
• Security+, CISSP, or CISM certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry standards, NIST frameworks, and CMMC requirements.
• Perform security assessments, audits, and vulnerability reviews, and coordinate remediation activities.
• Manage security architecture and develop strategic initiatives to safeguard IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and data across multiple facilities.
• Lead incident response planning, investigate security events, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Work with IT staff and department leaders to embed security best practices in business operations.
• Support security budgeting, project management, and employee education while promoting compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
