IT Support Technician

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of IT support experience; managed service provider (MSP) experience is preferred.
• Strong administration skills with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Windows.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
• Clear, approachable communication with non-technical people, both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable follow-through and proactive updates to clients.
• Valid drivers licence and dependable vehicle for local client visits.
• Able to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Based in or able to work from Langley, BC, in a hybrid arrangement.
• Preferred: PowerShell or other scripting experience; familiarity with n8n, Power Automate, or Zapier; security knowledge or certifications such as Microsoft SC-900/MS-102 or CompTIA Security+; experience with HaloPSA, an RMM tool, or similar MSP platforms; interest in how technology decisions affect client costs, risks, and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve support tickets remotely and onsite, covering desktops, printers, Microsoft 365, identity, and network issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 across client tenants, including users, licensing, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Apply and verify security measures such as MFA, conditional access, email security, endpoint protection, and backups.
• Document work in our PSA and keep client records up to date.
• Visit client sites for installations, moves, hardware support, and in-person assistance.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend long-term fixes, upgrades, or projects.
• Develop automations using scripting, n8n, Power Automate, or APIs to improve efficiency for our team and clients.
• Participate in client reviews and help develop technology roadmaps.

This full-time IT Support Technician role is hybrid, primarily remote, with regular local client visits in Langley, BC.
