Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience
- Strong experience with Java backend development, Spring Boot, and microservices in the banking domain
- Proficiency in Core Java and Java 8, 11, or 17+
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Kafka or RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Postman, Swagger, and Hibernate/JPA
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, and a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Banking or payments domain experience is preferred, including exposure to core banking, digital payments, or fraud systems
- Understanding of PCI-DSS, encryption, and audit logging is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead the backend development team
- Architect and design microservices using Spring Boot
- Drive technical delivery from start to finish
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrations
- Optimize microservices for performance and scalability
- Ensure compliance with banking security standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Mentor junior engineers
