Java Backend Developer

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Experience developing applications with Scala.
• Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
• Solid understanding of modern software engineering principles, best practices, and collaborative development.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and productivity; Kiro and Claude are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional technical teams.
• Software architecture, application design, or technical solution design experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience contributing to architectural discussions and technical design decisions is preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple applications and coordinate with different technical teams is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support backend applications, primarily using Java, including a specific application built with Scala.
• Design, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to design decisions.
