Requirements:
- 8+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years with Java, Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Node.js
- 4+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD servers
- 4+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services
- Experience with Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Boot, OpenShift containers, XML, JSON, UML, Jenkins, and Swagger
- 3+ years of experience building containerized microservices and deploying container applications
- Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code and using Agile development methodologies
- Experience with distributed caching, event-driven and streaming frameworks such as Kafka
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle SQL, NoSQL, GraphQL, and MongoDB
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices, including OCP
- Willingness to lead and mentor developers across teams
- MongoDB experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Angular front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend microservices
- Build user interfaces using AngularJS and Node.js
- Develop and unit test Java RESTful services that integrate with external client systems
- Analyze user requirements and define technical scope and assumptions for assigned work
- Create technical designs for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
- Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs
- Collaborate with internal and external design, business, and technical partners
- Research and recommend functional libraries to accelerate development
- Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized use
