Java/GCP Developer

Requirements:

• Hands-on Java software development experience.
• Experience developing and hosting Java and Python solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to design and implement scalable CCaaS and IVA solutions using cloud and enterprise conversational AI or customer-service technologies, including conversational IVR, NLU/NLP modeling, intent and flow orchestration, webhook integrations, and speech-to-text/text-to-speech.
• Ability to architect secure, resilient cloud infrastructure using services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Apigee, and BigQuery, with IAM, VPC design, encryption, multi-region high availability, and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of cloud security architecture, encryption, and OAuth.
• Collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and ability to work across functions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to contribute across the software development lifecycle, translate complex requirements into development tasks, and support software integration.
• Passion for software design and hands-on coding, with a proactive approach to testing and troubleshooting.
• Banking domain knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation, following provided guidance.
• Facilitate software design discussions and record decisions to guide technical teams in building solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
• Review code, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks to help users transition to new applications.
• Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive measures to improve system reliability.
• Maintain records of code, testing methods, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base and support similar projects.
