Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development or a similar role
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and proficiency with Spring and Spring Integration
- Hands-on experience with container and cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and Azure
- Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NoSQL, and RESTful services
- Knowledge of WS-Security and secure application development practices
- Experience with development and monitoring tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Autosys
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries in Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Strong Unix/Linux scripting experience
- Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React
- Experience with JUnit, Sonar, and Crucible
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team and engage with technical and business stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and translate them into application solutions
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE
- Perform unit testing and help ensure application quality and reliability
- Support application testing, troubleshooting, deployments, and production implementation planning
- Create proof-of-concept solutions to assess technologies and technical approaches
- Build and maintain applications using cloud and container technologies
- Develop secure web services and applications, write complex database queries, and maintain Unix/Linux scripts
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in an Agile development environment
- Participate in production support and application troubleshooting activities
