Junior Developer

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of full-stack web development experience
• Ability to pass a U.S. government background investigation
• Excellent communication skills for frequent interaction with end users and key stakeholders
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX
• Familiarity with .NET and C#
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, TFS, Codex, Claude, Jira, and AI MCP tools
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and unit testing practices
• Experience with SQL Server
• Understanding of web design principles
• Experience with OpenText software or other ECM systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop web-based workflow applications to replace manual paper-based processes
• Provide functional design, coding, testing, and risk assessment and mitigation strategies for development, test, and production releases
• Conduct unit testing before quality assurance and user acceptance testing
• Fix bugs during QA and UAT cycles and support operations and maintenance for production releases
• Develop system integration strategies, migration and mapping plans, and contingency plans
• Address assigned help desk tickets
• Maintain configuration and version control using the designated code management system
• Develop and support integration of applications with other systems
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to design, develop, and implement solutions based on customer requirements
• Design and develop solutions using an Agile software development methodology

We are seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join a team of developers and business analysts working on complex customer solutions. The role involves custom application development using technologies including Power Platform, SharePoint, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, REST APIs, SQL, XML, C#, Java, OpenText WebReports, and web services. We offer a primarily remote work arrangement, with on-site attendance required for in-processing and occasional meetings in Dallas, Texas.
