Lead Full Stack Python Developer (Remote)

Requirements:

• Experience developing full-stack applications with Python and React JS or Angular
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, SQL/PostgreSQL, and .NET
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications, APIs, web-service integrations, and solutions across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps.
• Build Python backend services and APIs, and contribute to frontend interfaces to deliver end-to-end features.
• Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and automate engineering workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure with tools such as Terraform.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, diagnose and correct code issues, and implement root-cause fixes.
• Write, validate, and modify code and scripts for internal and external systems in collaboration with Database Administration and Technical Services.
• Partner with the Database Administrator on SQL Server tables, data integrity, stored procedures, SSRS, SSIS packages, and routine data maintenance.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to plan and deliver features, review code, and share knowledge.
• Improve deployment reliability, observability, and system performance, and contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning.
• Lead the development of programs, web applications, and web-service integrations, including API development and management.
• Create logical diagrams illustrating current and future states.
• Lead LifePRO application support, including evaluating, testing, and deploying periodic releases and new functionality.
• Monitor resource use across programs, web applications, web services, and other systems.
• Develop and execute program- and system-level testing plans; review production data and reports for scheduled job completion, data quality, and integrity.
• Create and maintain application, system, design, architecture, disaster recovery, data center, standards, and best-practices documentation.
• Produce special reports upon request.
