Requirements:
- 8 or more years of strong Java backend development experience
- Experience with microservices, Kafka or MQ, cloud-native applications, and payment processing platforms
- Proficiency in Java 11, 17, or 21; Spring Boot; REST APIs; and microservices
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps
- Mandatory payments domain experience in areas such as wire payments, RTP, Fedwire, SWIFT, ISO 20022, treasury or cross-border payments, payment hubs, or high-value transaction processing
- Local to Edison, New Jersey; in-person interview required
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java microservices and payment applications
- Build scalable APIs and event-driven solutions
- Contribute to payment modernization and cloud migration initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the software development lifecycle
- Support deployments and production issues, and drive continuous improvement
