Lead Scrum Master - Technical

Requirements:

• The posting lists 7–10 years of experience for this role and also describes the desired candidate as having 5+ years of Agile project delivery and Scrum facilitation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, Kanban, and Lean principles.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or similar Agile tools.
• Skills in stakeholder management, sprint planning and execution, and risk and issue management.
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Release planning, metrics and reporting, and team coaching and mentoring are desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and effective practices.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, burndown charts, and delivery metrics.
• Identify and remove impediments to team productivity.
• Build a collaborative, self-organizing, high-performing team environment.
• Share project status, risks, dependencies, and progress with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support alignment and successful delivery.
• Support release planning, roadmap execution, dependency management, resource planning, and capacity management.
• Drive continuous process improvements to improve team efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure Agile governance, standards, and compliance are followed.
• Help all project pods apply Agile practices and plan and track project deliverables.

We are seeking a Lead Scrum Master for an Agile Delivery contract role in Fort Worth, Texas, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role supports a team organized into pods, each handling different projects, and involves helping coordinate planning and delivery across the pods. An in-person interview is required. The listed pay range is $55–$60 per hour; compensation depends on factors such as role scope, location, market labor costs, and the candidates qualifications and experience.
